The 100th film of hat trick hero Shivarajakumar and hat trick director Prem is going to throw light on the politics of the past and present in Karnataka with strong dose of underworld. The underworld subject has been the favorite of director Prem and Shivarajakumar too.

The recent release of Shivarajakumar’s younger brother Puneeth Rajakumar’s ‘Prithvi’ also touched upon the politics with mining activities in Bellary district of Karnataka.

For Shivarajakumar the underworld subject came up in his film career from ‘Om’ in 1995 the super hit film directed by Upendra. For Prem the underworld strong dosage from ‘Kariya’ in 2002 got him strong footage. It was in ‘Jogi’ both Shivarajakumar and Prem jointly combined in underworld subject.

Now in ‘Jogaiah’ the 100th film of Shivarajakumar the debut production of star couple director Prem and actress Rakshita is looking at the politics of the past that was responsible in giving scope for the underworld. A number of politicians figure in Prem’s ‘Jogiah’ and some of the real life politicians are also taking part in the film. Director Prem brought on stage a dozen underworld dons on screen in ‘Kariya’ starring challenging star Darshan.

Apparently the film ‘Jogaiah’ supposed to go on the floor on the birth anniversary of Dr Rajakumar on April 24 is all set to start shoot on July 12th, the birthday of superstar Shivarajakumar.

Director Prem has thought of four heroines for his fifth directorial venture (Kariya, Excuse Me, Jogi and Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe and Raj The Showman). Rani Mukerjee and Tamanna are in the minds of director Prem.
